Outside of gravedigging and perhaps sewage treatment, I can't think of a more disheartening industry to attempt to earn a living at. If it wasn't for an usually supportive wife and an entire array of mental illnesses, I would have given up a long time ago and returned to the workplace. Of course, there are those who could argue that I DID give up, but have failed to go find a real job. (

That being said, just keep trudging along and work as many avenues as you can. The amount of competition out there is trememdous, but luckily for us, most of them aren't that smart.
