Now this is the
only time European metric measures are better that old style feet/pounds/pints. Because if you know the size of the ice in metres, it is supposedly easy to convert it into volume in litres or weight in kilogrammes.
But don't ask me to do it, I still work in imperial measures (British pound/feet/pints)
