My son who works out a lot and is majoring in Kineasology - Fitness and Human Performance said creatine allows more water to enter the muscle so that more nutrients can enter and feed it. Amino acid/protein shakes are needed to feed the muscle and help build muscle mass. He takes L-Glutamine, Flaxseed oil, vitamin E, Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex and Omega3 fish oil. I can't challenge what he says 'cause he's 6' 1", 210 lbs. with a body girls die for without being "muscle bound". I'm 190 lbs. but he looks better because muscle weighs more than fat and he has a lot more muscle than I do. He also said to check out
