Well everyone with a credit card and a brain. Different things are different prices in different countries. You save a small fortune if you source your purchases internationally. For example: Cheapest I have ever seen a new computer mouse going for in the UK is £3.99, I buy mine from China, the last one cost me £1.29 including international postage. Christmas decorations cost about half as much in the US as in the UK, again including postage. I collect Nelson memorabilia, it costs a fortune in the UK, but I get it for a fraction of the cost elsewhere in the world where he is less well known. And going the other way - "antiques" from the 1940's do not go for as much in the UK as in the US, I'm told that Americans fly over here, buy their shit from our "antique" shops, freight it back home, and have saved a fortune even after taking in the cost of freight, air fair, hotels, etc. Some people even do this for a living.

Plus, of course, some things are not available worldwide. See my recentish thread on "spray on cheese" for example. Or for another example, movies. A lot of Brits buy American DVDs from the US because not all are available over here. And a lot of Americans by DVDs from mainland Europe, because they are often less censored. Or take computer games. Selling Japanese games in the US and Europe is big business as so many good Japanese games never make it out of the country.

In short - the world, my friend, is a small place. And only the small man buys just from his local mall.
