Highlight of the day - found a nice onion relish at the Polish deli. Will probably go well with hotdogs.

There is an American re-make of Shameless???? I would have thought that impossible! (Although Shameless was a C4 production, not BBC.)
C4 is currently showing a cop show by the guy who created Shameless. Same sort of world, but shown from the police side. To be honest it is not very good. It does not have the bite of Shameless, but it is too "soapish" to be a good cop show. Most of the main characters are too two dimensional and "silly stereotype" as well. I can't see it lasting like shameless did.
