need ss search-n-replace with web interface

Find-n-replace, search-and-replace, whatever you want to call it, I need one.

I've been searching for a script that can do find-and-replace for ANY file on my server account. It needs to have a webpage interface with some options for file backups, include filename wildcards, exclude filename, etc

I've come close to finding such a creater but the product only worked on one domain. I would have to not only install this on each domain, but then redo the search n replace process per domain. So not close enough.

I dont know if this is for money making reasons or technical reasons, but I cannot find a tool that can work with as many domains as I have on a particular server.
ie.
/home/youraccount/domain1
/home/youraccount/domain2
etc

anyway, do you know of such a script? It doesnt need to be a freebie, but I do want it at a reasonable price.

thanks
Harry

OK, I was SURE one of you guys would know an answer to this!

Was it the multiple domains requirement that makes this unfindable?

Or is it that I am shell shy and want to run this from a graphical interface, aka a wimpy ass html page?

just wonder what got this zero replies....................

Sunday's a slow day, might have better luck tomorrow. I can tell you that something like that could certainly be coded, but can't point you in the direction of an existing script

Personally I would only use a script like this if I wrote it myself. If you buy a script, other people will have a copy, including hackers.

I can see your point, but then again if putting this script behind a htaccess protect page isnt enough, then likely that hacker would own me anyway. I aint the nix guru I would like to be...........
