is the USA stupid or what

Ok since the existing of porn the american geverment has been trying to stop it or get people to do it their way. Now so many years later we have porn on the web and again the goverment is making so many issues that it is almost getting impossible to run your company.

The irs is getting a lot of money from many porn companies the internet is their because of porn and still they want us to shut down or do it their way wich results in not able to run your company any more.

Then there are many other parts of the world where they are not making a problem of every little thing. Many webmasters are thinking of having servers in other countries. Is that what the usa wants pushing their billion dollar industry over seas?

I am not an american webmaster, but i don't know that it must be hard to start your own porn company there.

Yup. It is bizzare. Porn on the internet must REALLY make the porn video stores in your local town happy. The heat is off of them for now mostly.

If push comes to shove and the US rules the way they like then yes many companies will move out of the US I'd think.

Not all American governments have spent time fighting such things. It ranks differently on the priority list of each administration.

Obviously Daddy Bush and Baby Bush both have similar priorities since daddy's power put Baby B in office.

Basically the concept is to increase the average American's debt while boosting the profits of the big companies. The profits have to come from somewhere and that’s my pocket. The trick is to keep people distracted while your stealing from them. Think about a pickpocket or any thief on the street. They will usually use distraction while they grab your money.

How does this administration keep the public distracted? The war on terror in Iraq (war for corporate profits) worked for a while. Maybe we'll invade Iran but the cost of the hurricanes will slow that down since we can only borrow so much from China.

If you can't start a war with another country you need to start a war in another area. In this case it will be a war of morals. The fight will be against gay people that bother no one else. The fight will be against naked consenting adults. The fight will be against illegal immigrants that corporations keep paying. The fight will be against abortion because that’s killing on American soil and killing in other countries such as Iraq is OK.

Our politicians are some of the smartest in the world as they control more wealth then any others. For $300 in tax cuts they got the support of enough Americans to give up their jobs, health care and retirement funds.

It’s just that Americans are not well educated any more. We rank very low in areas such as math, science, geography and current affairs. However, we do have more televisions then any other country even though televisions are no longer manufactured by American companies.

From where I sit...

Fox News Channel came to Canada's cable and DBS systems about a month ago (just in time for the hurricanes). Watching this channel has taught me more about the total brainwashing of a large portion of the US population than anything else I have seen.

My personal favorite is Bill O'Rielly (oh really?). The guy runs a show called "the no spin zone", and his first topic every night is "talking points". Now, I don't know about you, but talking points usually are a partisan list of topics to be used when addressing the media to put the right message out there. That anyone can (with a straight face) accept "no spin" and "talking points" at the same time boggles my mind (where is that smilie?).

Middle of Hurricane Katrina, FEMA and Brown were having a nap, the President headed to California to get a guitar, and O'Reilly is on the air blaming the governor and the mayor of New Orleans for FEMA not showing up.

No spin, indeed.

FOXNC and it's "presenters" for the most part pick a very conservative / republican line to almost any story that comes up, only being critical of of Bush or others around him as a last resort, when they see that they are alone on the "pro-bush all the time" stand. Then they will make very weak and sanitized "Bush didn't do enough" statements, and try to find a scapegoat to explain it (see Brown).

Between the crew of FOXNC (many of whom also do ultra conservative syndicated radio shows) and people like Rush Limbaugh, it is surprising that most Americans can go to the bathroom without help. These guys pile the crap on so thick that it is beyond understanding... Limbaugh still blames Clinton weekly for the economic mess in America today. "Dittoheads"... a nice way of saying don't think, just agree with me.

The massive divide between reality and what a large part of the radio, press, and TV medias are putting out there only helps to encourage this mentality, and teaches people to pat themselves on the back for a job well done even if the job wasn't well done.

It has been a very sad last 10 years watching much of America slip into a self righteous abiss.

Over the last twenty years Americans have become the dumbest people on the face of the earth.

I say this as a once proud, now rather ashamed and sad, American.

I try and watch O'Rielly every night just to see how full of shit he is

I do notice that O'Rielly is starting to slowly switch his position on the war
I think the gop knows they are sort of fucked there

fox is as far right as cnn and msnbc is to the left so....

the other night I seen some jerk say that amaerica is on the right track because there are more blue states then red ones

the problem with that is hardly nobody lives in those states
you cant compare the population of nebraska with the population of new york or california

A few weeks ago I saw a Tshirt saying "red wins" or some shit, it was of the US and showed state and all the county lines, and who voted red and who voted blue.

It was amazing how most of the major US cities stood out in blue in a sea of red.

If you ask the average citizen what they know about 2257 or the child porn protection act they will say huh? It has all been done in the dark no CNN coverage no news headlines around the world only people who notice are us. Wish someone would just tell bush to go invade iran or something and leave us the hell alone. I find it a total waste of human life in the war in Iraq why? Saddam said he would have a duel with bush one on one to determine the outcome of the war hmm bush dead or 100's of americans dead which did he choose? If i was pres I would have taken him up on the offer set it up somewhere nuetral and kicked his @ss saved some soldiers lives and boy can you imagine the public love of a president who would risk his own neck to save his country's soldiers and people. Instead bush hides in a bunker hmm no guts no glory bush.

I would really like to see George W. Bush Vs. Saddam Hussein in a bareknuckle boxing match, no holes barred, winner gets the country of Iraq, or just the oil fields...

I think it could be the global pay per view event of the century! Could you imagine?

The UK isn't such a great place. The divide between rich and poor grows and I'm afraid that whilst I once considered that we seemed to take the best from the US and leave out the worst, these days it's a bit more grim than that.
Canada does have a huge appeal, but then again I would imagine that some Canadians wouldn't agree.
As a Brit who also watches Fox News, and is a great believer in media (lack of) responsibility I can honestly say I've never seen such a likeable bunch of presenters present the facts in such an easy to understand way.
Brainwashing has never been easier it seems!
