Sub-directories?
I haven't seen it in many rules but I was wondering how many link lists do NOT allow sites to be in sub-directories/folders under the root domain? A list here would help.

That would be a very short list. If sub-directories weren't allowed you would need a new domain for each freesite. Stay away from sub-domains though.

$10 a year isn't a high price to pay to get a dot com that suits your niche. A single sale from a smidgen of SE traffic can cover that.
Using subdomains makes it really easy for a whole shit load of freesites to dissappear all at once... or worse... Probably similar reason why a lot of LL's like to see a mixup between domains being used. ![]()
