TGIF the 13th - Moving Day

Good morning, Friday the 13th and we're moving today.... hmmm good or bad? lol

One thing is for sure we're glad to be moving back to Ottawa. Montreal is awesome thanks to the subway, something Ottawa drastically lacks because you can go Anywhere in Montreal without having to drive which makes partying/drinking pleasantly easy. And overall Montreal has been great but really it's the worst city in the world to drive in. Seriously, limited left turns due to "traffic flow", no right turns on red and the it snows so much the streets are almost always only 1 lane due to snow build it. Good-fucking-ridance!

We move today and our new place in Ottawa won't have internet until Monday sometime so I will be offline until then. CYA

Well, we came home to no hot water last night so I've put a call in for a repair person to take a look at it. These things are all electronic now so other than to unplug/plug-in the device there is nothing an average Joe like me can do.

I am hoping to do a few galleries today along with some client billing that I didn't finish yesterday. It's -12 C / 10 F, the coldest day so far this year, so I will be staying inside except to go for some groceries.

No moves planned for today in the land where public transportation is petty much a joke.

Was out with friends until 3 this morning. I feel a nap in today's future.

Doing Foxy's updates this morning and then may go over to the gym or may just go back to bed.

Wish I could move. Every year I say "This is the year I will move!" But December 31st comes round, and I'm still here!

Although I guess I am not at home at the moment. Still over my friend's place looking after his two dogs and two cats

while he is away on holiday.

But tomorrow I go back to the shit hole in the scummiest part of the planet, that I call home.

I've been hoping t move every year, but it's just not feasible at the moment.
Released the first draft of my WordPress theme at http://www.alexalorenfan.com/ for testing. Lots more options to add though so the layout is highly customizable. I just gotta fix a responsiveness issue asap.

Morning All

Ramster - Good luck with the move. I personally hate moving so I could not even imagine doing it in the snow.

Yesterday hit the mid 80's and today is suppose to be the same. I really need to get back to working on the house so we can get the new a/c installed. At this rate it will be next winter before the house is done.

Looks like the Americans/Canadians are as bad as the Brits when it comes to winging about the weather so I will add my bit.

Had a good thunderstorm last night - power cut (we get that for a drop of rain) no hot supper, went to bed by torchlight -BUT we got 80ml(3.28 inch) of rain!!!! This morning my dogs were loving all the new smells to chase, and the cat was curled on the couch looking smug!
