Thursday January 12th (aka The Clusterfuck That Is My Life)
Morning!
If there was any alcohol in my house that I actually wanted to drink, I'd have gone on a bender last night. Luckily, I didn't feel like drinking any of the Coors Light I have left over from my step-daughter's fund raiser... Remember all that wind I got the night before? Server move isn't exactly smooth & flawless, I just documented my email address problems in the monthly thread, and my mother just continues to try my patience. Today can't possibly be worse...can it?? |

We have had very high winds here for about the last 24 hours. There are still thousands without power (not us -- we are fine). The cruise ship we normally take on our overnight trips to Stockholm slammed into the pier and now has a nice dent above the car deck. It's not bad, more like a fender bender. They said the waves were just over 11 meters - 30 feet. So far, nothing else, though we should be continuing with this all day long. It's also warm enough that any snow we have is melting.
So, back to work for me...

Going to a lunch meeting today and a yoga tonight. Think I am going through the acceptance phase of my tinnitus problem (constant ear ringing). Yoga tonight after dinner with a friend. That's about it. Have a good day! |

Looks like the fence that was just replaced at great cost by my neighbor on the east side of my property. That actually looks like an easy repair unlike the nightmare of thick overgrown plants and trees that had to be removed in order to replace his fence.
Work, gym, more work. My life is just so fucking exciting this days. :-/ |

Plus it's raining outside and I don't feel like going out. Enjoy your day! |

Fuck, it is snowing here now. Probably build up overnight and be deep and slippery when I have to go to the doctor's in the morning.

Actually Greenie, looking down your fence line it looks like you need to shore up a few more before they fall over as well. The joys of home ownership! |
