? for affiliate promoters
I have read several places that affilates do not like sites that have a trial access. This is what I want to know.
I have my site, I charge 24.99 of that an affilate gets 50% plus rebills. I do not offer my trial on my regular join page. (Right now I am not offering my trail at all) I was poping a trail if the left my site with out purchasing anything. What do you think? Would you push traffic to a site that has their trial as a pop up after the consumer was going to leave anyways? My trail was 7.95 so you would at least make about $4 instead of nothing and a chance at a re-bill. Or would you rather no pop up trail and just hope the consumer goes back and purchased with in 30 days ( for the cookie count) at the regular rate? Do you really think most surfers join a site the firat time they are there or do they check it out and say not today, leave, see the pop up and then know they can join for a lower rate then initially advertised? I am debating putting the trial pop back up as it did produce more initial revenue. I have not tested long enough with out it to see if the difference balances out. I just want to get others opionins.
