About to watch Matrix Revolutions on dvd

April and my eldest daughter are going to watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban tonight. I have to stay home and babysit our youngest. Not wanting me to feel left out, April just dropped a goody bag in my lap : Revolutions, dr pepper, and pop corn. Yep, I'm a happy camper...and a spoilt lil bugger, to boot

Just finished watching it. It was cool, but a shame a certain character had to snuff it

I finally saw it on pay per view. Had to watch just to see how the story ended. Well the first Matrix was good…

How the hell can you watch it on TV, so much happens in some of the scenes even a big plasma screen is not going to be big enough.

Then again I saw it at the Waterloo Bullring in London (largest screen in Britain) and I think I wasted my money on that turkey, so perhaps not being able to see everything in some scenes will be an improvement.

There isn't a cinema where I live. We have a theatre that shows only selective movies (like Harry Potter). But I have a 60" tv to make up fo it a bit D)

They're making me watch Harry Potter today.

Haven't been out of the house since I saw "The Day After Tomorrow".

LOL I haven't seen that one yet. Judging by your reaction, I don't think I will!

Yeah, my daughter wants to see Potter again, so it's my turn this saturday.

I love it where Devine eats the dog shit. John Waters is the homosexual equivalent of Tim Burton, except with enormous balls and no conscience. Love him. Not that I expect you give a flying crap, of course LOL

RE "There isn't a cinema where I live" - Hell, I'd move then. I live within walking distance of 1 "proper" cinema, 1 "arts" cinema and 2 multiplexes, plus I can get to the West End in about 30 minutes if the trains are kind to me. I could move a bit further from the West End, but never more than a long walk from a good cinema.

RE John Walters. Is he still making films ? Is he still alive ? I have not seen anything new from him in years. He was another reason I am glad I knew the Scala Cinema before Miramax drove it into bankruptcy, I got to see most of Walter's work on the big screen, not on video (still got the scratch and sniff card somewhere).

I wont be moving for awhile. My mum has a bone-wasting disease and has a broken back and ribs, so I wanted to move closer to her. We bought a nice 10 bedroom and the place is great for bringing up kids. If we need a cinema there's always Shrewsbury 40 minutes away.

Ahh, so Shropshire then. Practically the 3rd world, not surprised you do not have the basic amenities, like cinemas. One day I may show you other new fangled things like electricity and water that comes right into your house without having to be carried in from the well.

Sorry to hear about your mother.

'Fraid I don't even watch the tennis on TV. It brings back too many bad memories, I was savaged once by a rabid Womble.

I don't know but I do know that the guy that played Devine died in his sleep do to be so over weight. He lived in Miami and I met him back when I lived in Miami. He was a really nice guy, crazy as hell and really funny.
