7 letter 2 word domain

I just registered a 7 letter adult domain consisting of 2 real words, is that worth anything in your opinion?

You'll need to post the actual domain name in order for anyone to give you an idea of it's worth. From what I've read here at GG&J the value of domain names has gone way, way down in recent times.
Still, if it's something really good you never know.

A domain is worth exactly what someone will pay for it. So the value depends on what those two words are, and who you know who is interested in buying. For example, if you have amateur-sex.com, you might get a fortune if you know two or three newbie webmasters who want to run amateur sites and get them bidding against each other, but if you tried to sell it on the spam board here I doubt if you would even get an offer. The only accurate advance value you can put on any domain name is "somewhere between ten cents and a billion dollars".

However if it already has traffic coming into it, that will make a difference.

Wow, I can see free-ipod-porn.com or freeipodporn.com selling for a good price, but not free-ipodporn.com, as it either has one too many or one too few hyphens, depending on the buyer's thoughts on hyphens. Shows what I know!

I guess you take what you can get. If freeipodporn.com and free-ipod-porn.com are already taken you have to go with free-ipodporn.com

Personally I would have gone for "ipod-porn-for-free.com". It has got all the words in it, it is memorable for type in, an no one has registered it yet so it will only cost me eight bucks.

That's the kind of buyer I like, I make a reasonable amount of money publishing eBooks on conspiracy theories etc., and selling them to people who are "not that smart".

My favourite was a customer who said my eBook was "well written, but did not contain any information that he did not already know." Considering I had made up all the shit in the book the week before, while drinking the best part of a bottle of cheap whiskey, I'm kind of curious how he "already knew".

Well the comment was on the domain name and not on your seo skills. You have to agree that it's not the best domain and there were "better" ones available for $10.
It's not that hard to get a top Yahoo listing at least not for three word search phrases. In fact I once had a domain ranked #2 for over half a year for a single adult keyword. All the website contained was a title and a H1 tag with the keyword and not a single link to that domain (yes I did not do anything with that traffic ).
