Morning!

The local Weather Readers are all excited because we got about 1/2 the snow they forecasted. If they get their predictions correct: "We warned you!" If they screw it up: "We dodged a bullet!"

Already updated for today. Kinda feeling

due to all the Vegas talk...

No snow here but it is bitter cold with the temps only in the upper fifties this morning.

My bad leg is really sore this morning from last night's bowling.

Work, house cleaning, and then a networking Meetup this evening.

The usual work around here between biz and house.

Actually worked a couple of hours on the house even thou I was sore. Still sore but probably need to do that some more before the possible rain later today.

Other than that I need to run a couple of errands.

Cold shitty day today. Everything was bad about today, except for one thing, which was really great, and made the day worthwhile:

Husky News

The husky is getting very old (14) and has bad arthritis. I always let him pick the length of the walk and for the last few weeks he has picked a walk that is less than half an hour. And before that, the longest walk he has chosen for a long time is about 50 minutes.

Yesterday he tried to get to the farm. I had to cut him short because that is a three to four hour walk (depending on how long we stay at the farm), and I don't think his health is up to it. But the fact that he wanted this long a walk shows a great improvement on his health.

When the weather improves I think I'll ask his owners if they mind me taking him to the farm by train, because he obviously misses it.
