Been up for a while just puttering at work crap. Sabres vs Penguins just started. I didn't win Power Ball.

Today I am doing my washing by hand. That is because this morning my no-brand washing machine got delusions of grandeur and decided that it was a Hotpoint drier.

In other words, it switched itself on (when I did not want it on), made a horrible grinding noise, smoke started pouring out of it, and there was that nasty "electrical fire" smell.

Water and electricity never mix well!
