Morning!

I slept (right thru the OT of last night's hockey game) but I'm really tired for being awake for only 3 hours

The Bitch & I watched American Sniper yesterday. I thought it was a really good movie. As most of you know, I'm far from a guns & war kinda guy, but one thing struck me at the end of the movie: aside from a couple of friends that were over there, the only name of a soldier that I actually knew of was Chris Kyle. I remember being really sad when I heard he passed - especially the way (killed by an ex-soldier he was trying to help out). He was a true hero

I think I'm gonna throw on the new album by Clutch that I got on iTunes the other day. I kept hearing good things about them, so I thought I'd give them a try. They're heavy - reminds me a lot of Pantera & Helmet

No hockey games, no snipers, and no new albums today. also it seems just about no sleep, but that's my fault for saying out way too late and then having my bad leg wake me up way too early.

Finally got everything out of my guest room yesterday. Donated what I wasn't keeping and what Christy didn't want. Going to take pictures of the room as soon as the battery in my Nikon is charged as I want to use its wide angle lens to take the pics. As soon as I upload the pics I can make the listing live. I still have to give it a good cleaning but I can do that after I take the pics as it doesn't look like it needs cleaning.

Other than that just my usual day of work. Today is a gym day, but my leg is really sore today so unsure if I'll make it or not.

Normal day around here but I do need to take care of all my monthly bills thou probably put that off until tomorrow.

Been up and working as usual. Also watched American Sniper a couple of nights ago and also thought it was a good movie, well done overall. Sad the guy gets killed by a veteran he was trying to help.

While walking my friends dogs today I got talking to a woman walking her dog. She recognised the puppy as she had seen my friend walking him the other day. She was gushingly flattering about my friend calling him "witty", "funny", and "a great guy". She obviously had a crush on him.

I later told my friend this, and if he had left it there he would probably still be smiling with pleasure. Unfortunately he got me to repeat the story to his civil partner who recognised the woman from my description of her dog. His partner's response was "She has a very attractive boyfriend. Next time you see her ask her if she wants to do a swap, I'd be trading up!"

I did not help matters by pointing out that when she said he was a "wit" she was only half right!
