The Original Greenguy (Est'd 1996) & AVN HOF Member - I Crop Pics For Thumbs In My Sleep
|
![]() Morning!
![]() December 8th 1998 was my last day at my "real" job. 17 years later, even in the financial shape I'm currently in, I regret NOTHING!!! ![]() Working now, but I know a couple of movies come out on PPV today, mainly Minions & Ant-Man, so one of those 2 will be watched by a fat longhaired man after he gets home from the chiro ![]() OH! We did watch the Amy Winehouse documentary Amy yesterday. There were no on camera interviews - all the footage was of her performing, home videos & pics, and stuff shot by the paparazzi, who I think played a major role in her problems. I mean, they hounded this poor girl before anyone knew she had issues, and after, it was just scary. Her asshole greedy dad & balding druggy on-again off-again boyfriend Blake also played major roles in her demise. I'm not exactly a fan of that kind of music, but fuck me, she could sing. Very sad ![]() EDIT: I wanted to leave you on a happy note ![]() The vid is funny as all hell, but it's also so well done, I assumed it was a real song ![]() |

Morning
I finally closed out last month and will probably sit on the couch and contemplate whether this is worth it or not. I had come to the conclusion of giving this 1 more year, will probably still do so, but after that month it sure took the wind out of the sails. |

Stressed out after a morning of server hell.
![]() My mail partition kept on getting full so my mail was moved to a larger partition which then oddly broke a few other scripts. Just spent most of the morning changing server paths in a few dozen places rather than asking Mojo to make even more changes to my server that may have broken even more things. ![]() |

Good evening, long time since I've posted in the the good morning thread
![]() Congrats on the 17 years working at home Greenie ![]() Being in the demolition bizz it's pretty hard to work at home. I think the girlfriend wouldn't be that happy about it. I myself have been self-employed for almost 8 years now, time flies, and have no regrets either. Other than that, all is about the same as 6 months ago ![]() |

Wet here. Very wet. Worse in the North.
In 2009 they had the heaviest rainfall on record up in North England/South Scotland. After the floods, which ruined homes and businesses, the government improved flood defences but said "Don't worry, that was a rare once in a hundred year storm, you won't see the likes of it again in your lifetime." Last weekend, in the same area, they had an even heavier rainfall, breaking 2009's record downpour. The same people who spent a year in 2009/2010 repairing their homes, were again flooded out. Businesses that were nearly ruined by the last flood are again nearly ruined. New furniture, less than six years old, was destroyed by flood waters. Understandably the people in the area are very angry. They want to know why more was not done to protect them after the last storm. Winner of the "most unsatisfactory answer" award goes to a mayor in one of the worst hit towns who said: "This storm was a once in a hundred year event. In that this is the second time it has happened in six years, we were quite surprised!" |
