IPv4 and IPv6 users alike
Can you hit the following page:
http://cd34.com/ds.html And let me know if it gives a box with a green, yellow, or red background, and how quickly it did so? I suspect only a person or two will see a green background, those running Windows 7 will probably see a yellow background. Those with only IPv4 (probably most of you) should see a red background with only an IPv4 address. Thanks.

Teredo detection appears to be broken currently - working on that.

Art, you run linux a lot right? do you have IPv6 on your local ethernet card?
do /sbin/ifconfig eth0 (or whatever your ethernet card is) and does it have something like: inet6 addr: fe80::230:48ff:fe8f:df54/64 Scope:Link if so, it appears that your machine might think it has ipv6, is able to see the ipv6 DNS listing, but, thinks that it might be able to route.

The issue right now appears to be machines that have IPv6 configured, but, not routed. Some Teredo tunneled machines (Windows 7) have a 2-3 second lag before IPv6 comes up and it properly colors the box. As a result, I might change the box a little. People with IPv6 or only IPv4 are seeing the red box almost immediately.
I think I've got a little redesigning to do.

I thought it was pink too but lacking a pink choice I said red.

If you have ipv6, the board is now running dual-stack.

Are you running a Teredo tunnel? or are you in the comcast beta? If the former, you should get a yellow background, if the latter, it should have been green.

Teredo is Windows 7 built in tunnel in conjunction with a number of providers. By default, it is enabled, but, DNS resolution is turned off so that you'll have ipv6 for any site that is specifically ipv6.
http://ipv6-test.com/ does something similar and will tell you what your status is. If it says IPv6 is configured, but IPv4 is preferred, then you probably have a Teredo tunnel enabled on your machine. I believe it is the default for Windows 7. There is a registry entry (which I wouldn't suggest unless you were really curious) that you can flip that means you can hit dualstack sites and will prefer ipv6. http://ipv6.google.com/ is one other destination that is a reasonably good test.
