Morning!

Just a day of work & Olympic hockey for me today. Remember the country of Czechoslovakia? It split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1 January 1993. They play each other at Noon ET today (NBCSN & CBC) & rumor has it they do NOT like each other

Other than that, the temp is up from single digits to 28°F, but it's still snowing

A short while ago, England were drawn to play Scotland in an international soccer match. We all expected something really disastrous to happen as Scottish fans really do not like English fans, to the extent that England and Scotland have their own leagues and it is illegal for a Scottish team to play an English one in Britain as their is usually bloodshed (literally) and occasionally death (again, literally). However under International eyes the woad and skirt wearing savages behaved themselves and nothing serious happened. So maybe the Czechs and Slovakians can get along.

Anyway, I hope the fans don't riot back home because my server is in the Czech Republic and I don't fancy loosing all my sites when they burn the country down!

No Olympics, no flooding, no history lessons, no walls of text this morning or much of anything.

Still really sore from Sunday's bush trimming. Just a day of naked humans bumping uglies on my computer screens plus playing bill collector for some slow paying clients.

Just downloaded content to use. It's going to be a fat and hairy kind of bear day it seems.

Good morning, nothing big hear just the usual work day.

Greenie, think about how powerful some of those countries would be if they didn't split. Russia itself split into 3 countries I believe, scary.

Good morning. Been shoveling snow and taking my daughter to school this AM. Have I said I am sick of winter yet?

Found a decent used laptop to replace my old one that crapped out on the weekend. The one I am writing this reply on is a little too light weight for my needs. I have to go out and pick out the computer and do some shopping this PM.

Dinner with my brother this evening.

Have a great day and go !

woad
/wōd/

noun: woad

1. a yellow-flowered European plant of the cabbage family. It was formerly grown as a source of blue dye, which was extracted from the leaves after they had been dried, powdered, and fermented.
∙ the dye obtained from the woad plant, now superseded by synthetic products.

Old English wād, of Germanic origin; related to Dutch wede and German Waid.

Also worn as a war paint (see Braveheart for example).
