Monday August 24th (aka Summer Cold/Flu)

Morning!

So, seeing as The Bitch is in Seattle for the week visiting family & friends, I decided to work on my Fantasy Football & Hockey stuff all weekend. Saturday the almost-step-son-in-law came over & help me set up the pool house for the football draft that's here on Sept 5th & yesterday was spent running numbers on a lot of spreadsheets

Today, I feel like shit

I even have a nice cold sore popping on the middle of my top lip

I've been chewing on my herbal meds all morning & popping zinc meds. But so far neither seem to be helping...so to the couch I go...

I had some kind of a chest cold for over three weeks. Seems to be finally mostly gone, but I felt really run down for weeks.

Doig some work and then probably going to hit the gym before coming back home to do some more work.

Good Morning

The usual Monday morning work, run an errand and then need to start back on the house. Depending on how warm it gets I may put that off until tomorrow when I can start in the morning.

Back from visiting my parents and friends in Nova Scoita for a few days. Made the nice short 14 hour drive all day yesterday after drinking most of the afternoon and evening Saturday night at an outdoor concert, wasn't that bad though for some reason. Usual day of worked planned for me trying to catch up and whatnot.

The husky is also wet. But the husky does not mind being wet because he enjoys being dried after coming back inside. Sometimes the husky will come in wet, get dried, then go straight out onto the roof so that he gets wet again and has to be dried all over again. The husky is happy
