![]() Morning!
![]() When I do my research for these Fantasy Football Playoff Pools, I try to predict the winners so I can project what players will have the most games/points. Here's how I see it: AFC: Wildcard: KCC over HOU, PIT over CIN Divisional: NEP over KCC, PIT over DEN Conference: PIT over NEP NFC: Wildcard: SEA over MIN, WAS over GBP Divisional: CAR over SEA, ARI over WAS Conference: ARI over CAR Superbowl: ARI over PIT Yes, I do realize Ramster is the only one reading this ![]() So, working on that now, as well as some legit work... |

No fantasies about football here but I have been fantasising about winning over a half a billion dollars in this Saturday's PowerBall drawing.
Played tennis last night. Actually did a lot better than I thought I would, but did have to take a leg break about every 20 minutes. Doing Foxy's updates this morning and then might try to make it to the gym before joining friends for a Sing-Along at That Bar this evening. |

I'll probably be buying a lottery ticket for Saturday, as we have a stupidly big win. In our lottery (like many others) you pick six numbers, if they all match the ones picked by the machine you win the big prize (usually a few million pounds), if no one wins the prize money is added to the following draw. The big prize has not been won for 14 draws, it keeps rolling over, so this week the winner gets 14 weeks prizes in one (about equal to 90 million dollars). Effectively the prize money is so great that the money paid out will be greater than all the money paid for tickets.
However the interesting part is that if no one wins the main prize this week (gets all six numbers correct) the prize will be shared between everyone who gets five out of the six correct. OK, so getting 5 is still unlikely, but it is a lot more likely than getting six, and even at whatever share all the "second place" winners get as a win, it is worth trying for, and the odds are good enough that you can actually hope to win! Worse, there "coming events" picture is for last October! Surely it cannot be beyond the skill of even the most computer illiterate idiot to change one picture once a month. And to add moronicy to stupidity, the message beside it advising you to check their Facebook page for current events has no link to their Facebook page, you have to search the site for it! They seriously need the services of a good web designer, and I believe you need the work? |

I'll be buying some tickets to the Powerball as well.
I know some people consider it a 'stupid tax' but a few bucks allows me to dream all sorts of crazy. If I did win I'd share with you people for sure. ![]() |
