The Bitch & I are up at Emerald & BlueBrit's house for the weekend - and what a strange weekend it's been for me.

It started out with me falling outside in the dark while taking the dog out for a poo. Apparently, there's a sink-hole in their backyard. I found this out while I was walking with my cane & fell over because the ground was not where I thought it was. No biggie.

However, this next fall was a biggie. I was walking down into their basement, which was dimly lit because I forgot to turn some lights on when I went up. When I go up or down stairs, I usually have my one hand on the handrail & the other using my cane. This time, since I was carrying my headphones in one hand, I was not using the handrail. As I was approaching the end of the stairs, I started to turn right to walk into the basement area. Now, my balance has been off since my back problems started, and it picked a very bad time to show itself. I lost my balance, my cane somehow became horizontal & down I went. 1st my knees hit, then my face My nose smashed & rubbed on the carpet & started to gush blood. I was able to get to my feet with a little effort, walked to the bathroom & started to clean myself up. When I came out & turned on the light, there were 20 or so little splops of blood on the carpet, so I cleaned them up the best I could. Then, once I realized what happened, I was laughing about it There's a small roadrash on the top of my nose & it hurts like hell to touch it, but at least it's not broke.

And, to top off my lovely weekend (so far) my laptop took a shit. I did find a nice HP Pavillion g7 at Costco for $550, so I picked that up & have been setting it up for the last 18 or so hours

The nice thing about posting so late on a holiday weekend Sunday thread is that most people won't read this

Quick clean-up of the house. A client for a new non-adult website is supposed to come over today, but I forgot to set any type of time. So now that everything is tided up and getting to work.

Another hot day here and another holiday here. Didn't do much useful today besides taking care of the kid and playing on the PS3 a bit. now it's time to review a bunch of freesites. My 7 months queue from a few weeks ago is down to 4 months now.

Did I mention I had a dozen or so blogs on a small hosting account that got hacked and the host couldn't do much about that? I asked cd34 to move all those blogs to my account on colo-cation. So he did and removed all the malicious code and updated all the blogs while he was at it. Thumbs up for colo-cation and Sparky, again!

Hello. bDok reporting in quite smashed with liquor. Had an awesome time camping and then hanging today at a beach closer to home with my lady's family and some friends in town. Surfed a ton and am red from the sun. I was thinking about working a little. Then just judging by how long it's taken me just to read this thread programming is a no go. Instead I'll just move some files around and do some cleaning.

So I didn't take my iPad or laptop with me camping. My lady reported after we got there that there was free wifi. First trip in 8 years I haven't brought my laptop with me. Felt so strange.

Time to watch a little tv and work. Sorry to hear about greenie's fall. I'm glad it wasn't worse. I was reading it with this horrible oh shit feeling that possibly he was going to take a fall down a flight of stairs. It sucks still. Just still relieved to hear it wasn't worse.
