Good Evening Peoples

The Bitch & I are up at Emerald & BlueBrit's house for the weekend - and what a strange weekend it's been for me.

It started out with me falling outside in the dark while taking the dog out for a poo. Apparently, there's a sink-hole in their backyard. I found this out while I was walking with my cane & fell over because the ground was not where I thought it was. No biggie.

However, this next fall was a biggie. I was walking down into their basement, which was dimly lit because I forgot to turn some lights on when I went up. When I go up or down stairs, I usually have my one hand on the handrail & the other using my cane. This time, since I was carrying my headphones in one hand, I was not using the handrail. As I was approaching the end of the stairs, I started to turn right to walk into the basement area. Now, my balance has been off since my back problems started, and it picked a very bad time to show itself. I lost my balance, my cane somehow became horizontal & down I went. 1st my knees hit, then my face

My nose smashed & rubbed on the carpet & started to gush blood. I was able to get to my feet with a little effort, walked to the bathroom & started to clean myself up. When I came out & turned on the light, there were 20 or so little splops of blood on the carpet, so I cleaned them up the best I could. Then, once I realized what happened, I was laughing about it

There's a small roadrash on the top of my nose & it hurts like hell to touch it, but at least it's not broke.

And, to top off my lovely weekend (so far) my laptop took a shit. I did find a nice HP Pavillion g7 at Costco for $550, so I picked that up & have been setting it up for the last 18 or so hours

The nice thing about posting so late on a holiday weekend Sunday thread is that most people won't read this
