Legal 2257 Question

One of my sponsors gives away free softcore content.
On the page where your go to download the pics, there's a link to the sponsor's custodian of records. That's it.
If I were to put this particular link (to the custodian) at the bottom of a gallery using this content, would I be in 2257 compliance?

In a word, no. If any of the content is sexually explicit then you must maintain all the required records in your own files, and your own 2257 statement would apply. This of course assumes that you reside in the U.S.

The ONLY way the sponsor's 2257 statement would apply is if you are linking to free hosted galleries or hosted free sites.

If none of the content on your site is sexually explicit then you do not need a 2257 statement at all, but if some of it is and some of it isn't then you'd better have exemption statements on file for the content that is non-explicit.

Personally, I think the secondary producer portion of these new reg's is going to be tossed by the court, but in the mean time...

Yeah. I'll just nuke it all and make a fresh start.
