Which is why I'm a green, registered as a libertarian, plotting to take over the democrats and starting a new Green Efficiency Democratic party.

Personally I'm an independent, don't like either party, voted for Nader the first time around and would have voted for him again, but thought it was more important to get Bush out.

It's a fun board though...second it has a few more people in the mix it'll be pretty entertaining.

Some of the military strategy stuff i'm saying is true enough - a guerilla army can't function without the support of a population for example. But there's two ways to deal with it. One, you can be ruthless as hell, which is what we teach the South American countries in our School for the Americas. Or two, which I don't mention, you can make sure all the young men have jobs and can get wives.

That second strategy works better, but it requires that we really care about the Iraqi people (and be competent, and spend the reconstruction money wisely and fairly, instead of stealing it), which neither this administration, or the american people, does.

So we are stuck in a limbo, where we can't be ruthless, and we can't be constructive, all we can do is fort up and watch the Iraqis kill each other and occassionally kill some of our occupation soldiers.

Hey, a rabid Red Christian would have to hate us pornographers. ;-}

They secretly love the porno, but in public they all want us in a federal butt-slamming prison (as Alex would put it, if he were still around.).

I think it's funny that we can now call them Reds - thats the slur thay used to use asgainst the commies.

One of the weirdest Web Groups (Yahoo or MS, I forget which) I have ever seen was a 'Christian Bondage' Web Group. It was the same as any other bondage web group, but they only accepted bondage as the Lord allows. They claim that the Bible says 'women in bondage' is OK, but 'men in bondage' is a sin against God. I must have missed that bit in the 14 years I spent at a Catholic school !

But I came to the conclusion that since I am a Christian, it was OK to spam their group about my bondage site

(And considering the Bullshit some Christians claim to 'find' in the Bible, I'm sure I saw a commandment or something that says "Thou must spam your bondage site in any 'Christian' bondage site you come across" )
