looking for conversion tips

In general, just looking for some hints or tips from the veterans, if you have a site or sites that have a good CTR but bad conversion where do you start to look? I've even taken the same site and used it with a few different sponsors with the same result (pass the lube) so I have to look at it being "ME"....they say admitting your fault is the first step Anyway, I didn't want to go through a whole site review piece since one of the sites reviewed decently a while back...was just looking for what the key areas are that are good to check. I'd love to make the on the bench sessions but sat afternoon is about the ONLY time that is bad.
