LMAO... never had a squirrel, but I have had many mice left for me when I lived in farm land growing up, my late cat Randi always left just the heads, I think she wanted me to stick them on a stick to strike fear in the hearts of the other mice cause every time I threw them away she gave me a pissed off look like “what, are you stupid?”

We do have about 4-5 squirrels in our area and every time we go outside they bitch up a storm, if my 2 cats weren’t so fat and lazy I think they would go after them, if they had a clue what to do with them once they caught them, but when Reggie was about 2 he went after some ducks that lived behind us in a pond, he bolted after them so fast he didn’t see the chain link fence and hit it so hard he went underneath it and got spun into the air about 3’ and landed facing us with a “what the fuck was that” look. Ducks got away and I had to climb a fence to get the little fucker.
