Good Tuesday Morning

Morning.. not much "good" about it for me.

I got an email late yesterday that my former business partner (we had an entertainment tour management company for 12 yrs.) died of cancer last week. I spoke to her in February as she was planning a trip to Vegas to look for an investment home here and an assisted living facility for her mom. She said she'd let me know when her plans were firmer. and Now it's June-4 months later and I get this email. She found out in March.. had a been a good diligent friend I would have followed up and possibly would have known.. but everything else seemed more important at the time.

So a big life lesson to me in this (and to share)..if you have a friend or relative that you haven't heard from, lost touch with, been too busy for, reach out..you never know when you won't have another opportunity.

Simon and Cleo, obviously you both have learned this lesson much better than I did. I wish both of your friends a speedy recovery or at least an eased one because both of you are taking the time to be there for them.
