can't seem to get listed at some link sites like LOR and DD's

hi all... I've been building free sites and submitting for a couple weeks... some link lists are listing most of my sites and some are not listing any of them ( got 1 listed on LOR ) I was hoping for some input to see if I am making mistakes or something to keep me from getting listed at some sites like LOR and Danger Dave's.... any feedback would be awesome and appreciated.... and thanks to all the places that do list me and to all the helpful people on this board....
