Our water bill has gone up about $30 a month so we shut off all the water in the house and watched the little pinwheel on the water meter and saw that it is moving very slowly. So now we have to figure out what is leaking. All ready checked everything in the house and nothing so I guess it is a pipe under the ground. No idea how to find the leak other than to start doing a whole lot of digging.

There are services that will find underground water leaks so you know where to dig to fix it. They're often affiliated with pool maintenance services.
