I Survived The Hurricane Blizzard Hump Day!

Blech

Within an hour of posting yesterday, my eyes started watering so heavily it looked like I was crying.

Then the sneezes started, every few minutes and several at a time. |sneeze|

And when I wasn't sneezing my nose was running like someone was having a going out of business sale on mucus. |no_smilie|

Did I mention fever? Either my head was on fire or I'd been keeping my hands in the freezer. The only thermometer I have has a dead battery so I maybe it wasn't as high as it felt from here.

I don't know what it was, but it took me down for the full day. Spent most of it on the couch after I finally gave up on trying to get any work done while not able to see and keeping a tissue in each hand. Went to bed early and slept like a rock.

Feeling better today, with only a very light dusting of yesterday's symptoms. I have no idea if it was a 24-hour flu or what. But it really hit hard. Harder than anything in many years. So I'm taking most of today off too, just to make sure it's really gone and make sure I'm feeling great when I get back to working.
