Well I am a bit leery to do it since they can reject your site and you don't get a dime of your money back if they decide not to add it.
On the other hand, one of my friends made it into the popular list too and that traffic seems to be pretty quality. He told me his conversions skyrocketed. Just depends on lady luck, I guess.
