A post promoting something that is directly related to promoting something else is a promotion and therefore not considered appropriate for `General'. It's in the Webmaster Guidebook. Section 43, paragraph 6 under the heading `Indirect and Obfuscated Promotional Tactics'. This promotion is sometimes referred to as `Promotion in Sheep's Clothing'.
