Running one's own site, featuring one's own ass as the content is probably the most comprehensive webmaster position in the industry.

AMEN to that.. I know for a fact, using Trixie as an example, not only do they put themselves out there, they invest in their own equipment, arrange photoshoots and do their own design and development just to keep their membership rates cost effective and those re-bills coming!!
