That is really fucking weird - there is no way in hell that you should be in the blackout zone. I had my headphones on during the game listening to the radio broadcast & our play-by-play guy John Murphy mentioned 3 or 4 times that the 67,000 tickets that were sold for the game (Stadium holds 74,000 or so) were more than 3 or 4 sold-out games. 7,000 from a sell out is probably a bit too many to have a company buy them up (roughly $350,000) but fuck me, it hurt when I heard that this was the 1st game in the entire NFL season that did not sell out
Another thought crossed my mind when I head the standard Time Warner cable ad at the beginning of the game. I wish I had the actual copy that he read, but it was along the lines of "Bills Fans - if you couldn't get a ticket for the game, Time Warner has you covered with many High Def football games...."
Who couldn't get a ticket for a game that didn't sell out? How does Time Warner have you covered if the game is not on? If it was on, it wasn't in HD either
I've got another rant on the NFL Network/Time Warner thing as well, but I'm saving that for my rant on LOR

Our CBS channel comes out of Syracuse. A little closer to Buffalo but still, only an hour from here. All in all, it sucked watching the Jets game. But at lease it was in HiDef

Even DishNetwork who has 2 CBS channels carried the Jets game on both.
