Usually checks are only good up to like 90 days. The company would have to reissue you another one. It's doubtful that they would, but if they do, it's a standup company.
I go to the bank to make deposits at least 3 times a month. You never know when a company is going to go under and stop payments on a check. You can't be too carefull. Plus, my deposit tickets only has space for like 30 checks, so if I don't go I would have to make multiple deposits at once. And the bank just loved to tack on additional business charges. -Charge per deposit transaction -Charge per check deposited -Charge for Check written -Charge for this -Charge for that I hate banks. If only my matress had a checking system. |
