This is generally the way I work. However, at times I will admit it can delay certain milestones in a project. (just because another project I might just feel like working on at that point in time. It's one thing in this coming year I need to get better on in regards to priority.)

The biggest thing I've done over the past year is actually write down items into manageable action items. This allows me to just look at my projects and know exactly things I can do that move things forward towards the completion goal.
