Waking up to a wet Sunday 20150628

Sister's barbecue today - as predicted, it rained. Missed my train on the way there (my fault) the next train was run by a different company, and the ticket cost me three times as much as if I had caught the train I was aiming for.

Ate too much, talked too little. The youngest in my generation is pregnant for the first time (at last, she is already old enough to be a grandmother!) so the talk was mostly babies. Not a subject I have much to add to (and when I do, most people object to my theory that children should be kept in cages until they are 21).

Food was good even though it was a gas barbecue, not a proper charcoal one.
