Wednesday March 9th (aka I'm Sorta Alive I Guess)

Appear to be going senile!

Yesterday I posted that I have a blood test today. This morning I had to start getting ready to go to it after the 9 o'clock news on the radio, so listened to the news drinking my last coffee of the morning, and afterwards as I reached over to switch off the radio the announcer said that the next program was "Midweek". I thought that strange because "Midweek" is broadcast on a Wednesday (hence the name) and today is Thursday. I know it is Thursday, because I have a blood test on Thursday, and that is today.

Fortunately I was curious enough to continue listening to the radio to find out why "Midweek" was being broadcast a day late. And eventually realised that today was not Thursday, but Wednesday. I was convinced that yesterday was Wednesday, so today had to be Thursday. I nearly turned up at the hospital a day early.

Then, having worked out that today was Wednesday, I still went to the shopping centre after walking the dogs, expecting the shops to still be open, because Thursday is late opening day!!!

I think I need to replace my watch with a wrist calender!
