Bullshit. If the doctor has that little of an understanding of psychology I'd never bother with him again. A traumatic event such as this can cause any number of temporary, or even permanent, neuroses. Call him a cunt and find another doctor.

I often wake in the middle of night remember words written by you. Is that considered a neuroses?
