Yea, those links are buried a bit on the main page. Not something I'd reject the site for...but other reviewers may.

As to how many recips you can have, I've seen sites with 20 recips that still looked good. But, you almost have to go with custom recips to achieve/maintain a clean look with that many recips. Using the individual recips from each site can get more than a bit haphazard looking with 20. There have been a few threads about custom recips and I recall the consensus being that most link sites do allow them as long as their anchor text/links remain intact.

Forgot to mention...I've done text only free sites, and have found that a combination of text with banners always worked best for me in the long run.

You are welcome! I do 16 - 20 recips all the time, and personally, I make custom tables because the look sooo much neater, and all the big link lists allow them as long as you keep their title tags and linking text they want intact, and they don't end up real huge.

I've done my recips in tables where they run down the side of the index page like I did in that site I linked to above

in order to vary my design on my index page.

If you use CSS sheets, what I do is form all my tables and use a style tag for instance

 <font class="recips">recip text</font>

Then that way, when I build a new site and change my recip tables to look different, I change the code on my style sheet and new colors!

You are welcome on the quick approval, MadHatter checks the link lists, and trys to check several times a day to get new sites listed quickly. He just never posts, lol. I do all the design, sponsor sites, build free sites, etc. etc. and he checks links.
