What the astronomers haven't mentioned, because they don't know about it yet, is a very dense dark object's gravitational field that has eluded detection will shift the path of this asteroid just enough to cause it to hit the earth causing all life on this little speck of matter to cease to exist.

I want to thank everyone for a real great adventure in this reality before we all die and hope to do it again with everyone in the next big adventure.
