Hehe, I know that feeling all too well... That's why I usually don't show them any examples, but rather try to explain stuff to them in such ways that leaves room for them to come up with their own solutions. Oftentimes it confuses them and sometimes it helps them gain insight and innovate, but they can never accuse me of not being helpful
