(That was a joke, except in the gas Vs wood/charcoal thing, have you ever tasted two identical pieces of meat, one cooked on gas, one not? You have got to have been a pretty heavy smoker not to notice the difference)

I did laugh before I confirmed it by reading that it was a joke.

And I will now call upon MrMaryLou and ask him if he's every had a complaint about the steaks I cook on my gas grill

The very best grilled meat I ever tasted was slowly smoked (for hours) in one of those very unimpressive looking flat black smoker grills. Absolutely scrumptious. Gas merely heats the meat, where as the right wood will add flavor to a hunk of dead flesh. Yum.

Oh, by the way, I love black chicks.
