Well, agressive selling isn't necessarily the opposite of passive selling, altho agressive selling defineitely has it's place.
As for avs's, that depends on the AVS - some let you be more agressive, some don't. AVS is a moderately complex game, and it's changed a lot over the years. But what I was talking about was _active selling_ as opposed to passive selling. That means really thinking about your sales text, understanding your niche, using the trigger words of your niche effectively, and clearly getting your sales message projected into the mind of the surfer. You don't want the surfer to see your sales positions and think, "Right, another fucking lameass advertisement...". You want your sales text and sales positions to be the most interesting things on your pages. And you want to be clear that the real juice is to be found by clicking your sales link. |

In addition to Bill's advice keep in mind that 3-4 months is not enough to judge how a site will do in the search engines. I've had some take 2 years before I had favorable results.
You should research basic seo a little more also. I noticed one of your sites, the best seo work was on the main page. Grab em by the balls right on the index page. Both the surfer and the bots. ![]() |
