Greenie I remember playing that game with my buddy - we were in a dark room & we could not figure out what do do next. We kept getting it wrong & then the game told us "4 out of 5 sense-able people know what to do next" We then told the game to "smell" & we were on our way

There were actually 8 varieties of Dark in Hitchhiker, depending on where you were in the game. Usually after you "smelled" the Dark you had to 'examine' the shadow and 'eat' the peanuts, or 'say' (my) name, and damn sure better have your towel for what comes next.
