First day with my father was interesting. He is very bummed about the election.

Actually wearing a pair of jeans and a real shirt today, instead of shorts and tank top. Of course I could just close some of the windows, but it feels better to be cold* with all of the scenes of the snow in the northeast on the news.

Last night I watched some things from my dvr that were recorded before election day, so I had to keep grabbing for the remote at every commercial break to avoid all the political campaign ads that had also been recorded. My idiot state is still counting ballots too, and it's likely that a total vote count won't be available until Saturday. It's like they don't know it's already over, all over and done with, and nobody cares what Florida thinks this time.
