Now Cleo's "Tried it - didn't like it - so don't watch it" attitude I can understand. But your "Never tried it, so I don't know if I'll like it, but I'll deprive myself of it anyway, so that if it is something I like, I get to miss out" just seems a silly way of looking at life in general!

I work two jobs, don't have enough extra time for watching anything longer than 1 episode. Dr Who is like whole other world with almost 1k of episodes. I'll pass.
It's like some people don't like porn for whatever reason.

Yeah, you don't have to watch all 50 years worth of the show though. You could watch just one episode to see if you like it (about 10% of the episodes are 2 part stories, the rest are single story episodes). Although I would not have recommended last night's episode to a newbie, as it did hark back to previous plot threads.

Shit that is depressing. Even if you never watch Dr Who you need to spend more time not working.

At the risk of sounding like an old movie: About a year ago I got a double whammy from the doctors. Two different problems, but from the same underlying problem. The first doctor tells me that one of my eyeballs is on it's last legs, and the other is only slightly better. Nothing they can do. Unless there is a new breakthrough in medical science, I'll be totally blind in a few years. Another doctor told me shortly after that bombshell that I may not need to worry about going blind. This is because in 2 to 5 years I'll need an operation that may not work, and may not be possible. If I don't get that operation (and there is a good chance they won't have the "spare parts" they need) I'll die.

You have no idea how pissed off I am that I've spent most of my life working long hours so that I can have a good retirement!

If only porn sponsors were as good as whoever originally posted that pic. It is a screen capture from last night's show. But I have never seen a screen capture as clear as that before! If someone in the porn industry could start making screen captures that clear, we could start using them on free sites and galleries!

Oh, and although I know you really don't want to know the answer to your question, I'm going to give it to you anyway: That "handsome happy-go-lucky chap" is Peter Capaldi, the next actor to play Dr Who. And if you paid more attention to your own board you would know that already, he was my avatar up to yesterday.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope that doctors predictions will turn in your favor.

What I do right now is me having small construction company and 3 projects with a deadline right before X-mass.

My second job is the online stuff.
I know that doing the online stuff I can watch TV, listen to music or whatever else but long time ago I've learned that watching something in the background only leads to complete distraction and shit never done.
I will be having 3 or 4 full weeks of totally free time from 17th of Dec when I will enjoy doing nothing. Last time I took so much on my shoulders but in the long run I know that it'll pay.
