Get Humped On Hump Day

Been up for no real reason at all since 6am.

Just a day of work planned along with grocery shopping this evening.

I have visions of doing what they did to their boss in the movie 9-5 to the owner of the restaurant.

Yesterday he sent Mickey Havens over to me so that I could do an ad for next week's SFGN with only three hours before the deadline. Mickey and I sat down and I do a really nice ad for him along with mentioning that the restaurant has a new chef with an all new menu along with $8 Grey Goose and free valet parking, plus location, phone number address and everything else that can be fit in a 4x5 ad. Sent it to Lou (the restaurant owner) and I get a call from him saying that he didn't want the ad to be about Mickey. He tells me to make the part about Mickey really tiny and to put food pics in the ad. So I do what he asked and send it to him again for approval. Now I've got less than twenty minutes before the print deadline. He calls me back and asked me why I'm using stock photos. He doesn't like the photos so tells me to remove them so I do and send it to him again for approval. He calls me back and says that people no longer know how to read so I need to drive over to the restaurant and take pics of the food, food that hasn't even been cooked yet. I explain that we have less then ten minutes before the deadline so he decides to just not advertise at all.

On the plus side I'm still billing him for 3 hours.
