Good morning

Been up for a bit working and that is the plan today as the wife is at work all day until 5. Party tonight at a friends for New Years, the usual crowd with the exact same appetizers as last year except for us, we'll bring something different because that's how we roll.

Morning.

Our routine has us going to an early movie with friends and likely ending up in the hot tub at midnight. Other than that, trying to learn Civilization: Beyond Earth and doing the odd work related thing.

Looking forward to the end of a crappy 2016. Not looking to forward to 2017 with an American government controlled by Rapture loving, tin foil hat wearing Republicans.

Got up early as The Bitch had to leave for work by 7:15, but crashed back in bed for about an hour.

No plans for us tonight - I doubt I'd be awake at Midnight anyway

Out late and up late. Actually, it was just too chilly to get out of bed this morning.

Should warm up to our normal warm winter weather by this afternoon.

Going to a private party this evening and probably the gym this afternoon.

Good Morning

Up in San Francisco for some late xmas, chanukah and new years get togethers with the wife's side of the family. Traffic sucked coming up as we were late leaving due to the house sitter showing up late. Plus it rained the whole way, but that's okay as we need it.

It has just gone midnight here, so happy New Year all.

I had forgotten it was new year's eve until a few minutes ago when I heard fireworks going off and tried to work out why!

Please don't let 2017 be as bad as 2016.
